A Trip To Remember - North India It Is!

#Part1 They say "We travel not to escape life , but for life not to escape us". True to this saying we have nothing to lose but a world to see.. Here is yet another blog about my trip to North India - well a part of it ;) This was my first air trip - so you can imagine the butterflies in my tummy and the excitement of knowing that mine was a window seat! Another positive part of the trip was my travel companion - my little bro Manthan Rao. Must say - Sometimes its not the places that you travel that excite you, but the person who you travel with makes the difference. Him being one of my best friends, I could be myself in the City that both of us were strangers to. So coming back to my trip - We reached the airport at 11PM on 15th June'18. Our trip was from the 16th Of June'18. As expected, our flight got got delayed from 12AM in the morning to 5AM. So I got liberty of roaming around Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru for a full 4 hours! I really do not rec...

I Am All Ears!

With so much of negativity from the past months, life has become so so unpredictable.  The unimaginable is happening and it is even so more hurtful when you realize so many helpless lives are at stake! In the light of events happening in and around us, I wanted to write this blog with a purpose to convey that - every cloud has a silver lining! I am sure each of our patience has reached its limit and all that we are longing for is this whole virus battle to end - as soon as possible! I am with you. Yes, the same is the state of my heart and the state of my mind. Initially, while the pandemic began all I could think was will I be able to survive this? Will I be ever able to go home and see my parents?  Will I ever get a chance to continue with my travel plans for the big year 2020 as it was planned? Of course! Park it all.. Time is uncertain but what keeps me going is the fact that each of us are fighting the same battle. So if someone is doing their part to stay calm so can I. ...

Life - Upside Down!

It is 6 in the morning. My alarm rings and I am up within 5secs so my next door neighbor will not complain about the alarm waking them as well 😋 कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मिः करमध्ये सरस्वति । करमूले तु गोविन्दः प्रभाते करदर्शनम् ॥   Just while i am rubbing my hands and placing them over my eyes - I hesitate to touch my face, I am suppressing my cough and trying to check if my throat is hurting? This has been the pattern for almost a week now. This new virus has not only drained people physically but also mentally. For some of us, this dry cough, sore throat has always been a part and parcel of our lives. But now even a minute of these feeling send a shiver down our spine. One is always worried if this routine is an indication of the scary virus. What is more worse is the thought that if you have got it and are giving it to others as well. While sharing is caring, given the current situation as the doctors and govt is appealing - at this hour of emergency, what is required most f...

Aaaaaaaaaarceeeeeeeeeeeebeeeeeee

Aaaaaaaaaaaarceeeeeeeeebeeeee..... Yes. This blog is for all the die hard fans of the Red Color. The Royal Challengers Bengaluru!! Yesterday was yet another tragic matches we have ever seen. It's true that in a game there is winning and losing.. But some of losses come with big heartbreak!(Even harder than break up's 😋) This was one another time. From the start of the season, we have seen them perform real hard but fail. One of the moments where at one half of the game we could see all the cheering ..heart skipping a beat at the sight of Kohli😋😍 all the flags waving, hi-fi's, hugs, boo's and all the positive cheering... But then the last 2 overs was one breath stopping moments for all out there! The hoots and loud cheers ended with sheer gasps for breath and for some of us - tears welling in our eyes 🤐 This is one short blog to all of you who have lost hopes on RCB(me too) that wherever we are, however they play - we are gonna be RCBians forever 😍 ...

The Anatomy of Time

Many a times, we tend to smile even when the whole world is falling apart. Many a times, we don't want to go that extra mile to finish a task. Many a times, we do not want to speak out though we an ocean of things to say for fear to dejection. Many a times, we cry of guilt for an opportunity lost. Many a times, we loose people who always meant the World to you. This post is for those people who missed a heartbeat while reading one of the above statements or missed many a beat .. Life gives you opportunity .. but more often than not, it is only once. So when it knocks on your door - make sure you hear the slightest knock. We tend to be sometimes scared of the hierarchy..Whether in family or at work. So while planning to accomplishing a task - we try not to reach out to higher levels for fear of being less competent. But hey, weren't they too once at your level before reaching out to the next higher up? So gear up and muster the courage to ask and receive !! Be the World ...

Travel..Pause..Write.. Travelogged

We travel not to escape life but for life not to escape us. This particular piece of my writing is about my experience of probably one of the best trips that I have had until now. The trip was to Nasik. As the legend goes the name is associated with Ramayana. Epic says that when Shoorpanaka tried to woo Rama and Lakshmana towards her and when she forced Lakshmana for marriage, he cut her nose and that is how the place got name as Nasik. In a similar way - all the emptiness and void in my life(at least the ones which i thought was a dependency), the ego and some part of anger was actually trimmed off my life too. Let me begin with the journey. We were 8 of us from Bengaluru and 2 of our collegues were to join us directly at Nasik. So we started from Bengaluru at around 11.20AM(Bus was to start by 10.30AM actually). We got comfortable and  thus began a beautiful journey that would change our perspective of life once and for all. We played a lot of games such as cards, the cont...
