I Am All Ears!

With so much of negativity from the past months, life has become so so unpredictable.  The unimaginable is happening and it is even so more hurtful when you realize so many helpless lives are at stake!

In the light of events happening in and around us, I wanted to write this blog with a purpose to convey that - every cloud has a silver lining! I am sure each of our patience has reached its limit and all that we are longing for is this whole virus battle to end - as soon as possible! I am with you. Yes, the same is the state of my heart and the state of my mind.

Initially, while the pandemic began all I could think was will I be able to survive this? Will I be ever able to go home and see my parents?  Will I ever get a chance to continue with my travel plans for the big year 2020 as it was planned? Of course! Park it all.. Time is uncertain but what keeps me going is the fact that each of us are fighting the same battle. So if someone is doing their part to stay calm so can I. This is the time for rejuvenation. The situation where you have got all the free time you had ever dreamed about while working those long hours in office, hardly having any time to eat or break for a cup of tea. Yes, for some the work pressure is still the same. Nevertheless, what matters is how efficiently you have come to terms with handing time and situation in better ways on your own! While some are sad about the situation they are in, any others are very happy having time to continue with their hobbies which was long forgotten. Kudos to those who never let the child in them ever die :)

Now coming to one of the important topics which I wanted to touch upon - the mental health of each of us. I have had my episodes of stress and boredom and what not. What is important here is not what I went through but how I came out of it. For me talking to my family and my closed ones has always been a boon. There were time when I broke down not knowing where to go or what to do, what do I eat or how do I stay alone! But yes, it was just a phone call that gave me hope and courage to keep going and trust me it works.

All the negativity around us has suddenly given rise to doubts if the smile that each of us carry are true or are we just trying to hide a whole lot of sadness behind it. One of the finest actors whose smile stole so many hearts and who portrayed that suicide was not the end of it proved it to be just wrong for him! It really was a real shocker to the whole world.

We may have lost touch with our friends. We may have been forgotten in their lives. The message I would like to bring out is - Live like there is no other tomorrow. Make that phone call that is long pending. Write that article which is in your head.  Tell someone how much they mean to you even if it is going to be hard - you never know if they were just waiting for you to open up. Tell your parents how much you love them and how they are your world! Live with no regrets. It's never too late!

Last but not the least - This pandemic is as hard for others as it is for you. Initially when all this COVID began, the question I kept asking to myself is - who really cares for me?  Who is/was really by my side when things just kept getting worse? The answer is -  We are all in this together. This is a fight which we can win only if we stay united.

If you need a someone to talk, if you need a someone to share, if you need a shoulder to cry on and if you feel that nobody is there while you need them - your friend is just a phone call or a text call away. Your life matters and you matter! With no judgement and no prejudice I am sure they are the best people you can rely on without having to think twice before you speak. I - as a friend in your contact list am happy to be all ears while you are on your low. Rest assured - you get to enjoy my pj's too ;)

I'm sure most of you could relate to so many points while reading the blog. This rollercoaster ride is going to continue for sometime. So hang in there for some more time! Life is going to give you 100 reasons to crib, but give life just one reason why you will still choose to continue smiling 😊

You have just this one life to live, love and care.  Do not ever let it be a waste!👐

Keep Smiling! Happy days ahead!💙

  5. How strange to talk about the simple life style only when we see something happening around. Are we waiting for the topic to share our lessons learnt? When Greta Thugberg said we are taking global warming for granted we wokeup in large-scale! When everyone are trying to find things to make lockdown life intresting we realised we need activities around to be active! When someone very successful committed suicide we are sharing our stories and telling people to speak up for help! Aren't we missing to prevent the trouble from happening? Do we really have to take trendy topic to discuss to make people understand!?
No offense with the article Vrushali. It's indeed a motivating story. All I am saying we should stop targeting the trendy topics to express. Instead make life better by doing it regular on random required topics. It's so sad to see things coming up like "sheep following another sheep".

    1. Thank you for your feedback @A.

Trending topics are motivation of course! For some lazy people like me the drafts in the blog keeps piling! Like you brought it out, I'm not really targetting any trendy topic to express.. this is my way to communicate to my friends that irrespective of what is happening around them not get influenced and there is always someone to help and support in times of need. Owing to the situation happening around - anybody in their sad state might take any wrong decision! Therefore, I am just doing my bit for my friends

Point taken - To write regularly.. I will do

If there happen to be more "sheeps following more sheeps" trying to better the World, I'm certain the World will sooner or later be a better place to live in ✌️

Life - Upside Down!

It is 6 in the morning. My alarm rings and I am up within 5secs so my next door neighbor will not complain about the alarm waking them as well 😋 कराग्रे वसते लक्ष्मिः करमध्ये सरस्वति । करमूले तु गोविन्दः प्रभाते करदर्शनम् ॥   Just while i am rubbing my hands and placing them over my eyes - I hesitate to touch my face, I am suppressing my cough and trying to check if my throat is hurting? This has been the pattern for almost a week now. This new virus has not only drained people physically but also mentally. For some of us, this dry cough, sore throat has always been a part and parcel of our lives. But now even a minute of these feeling send a shiver down our spine. One is always worried if this routine is an indication of the scary virus. What is more worse is the thought that if you have got it and are giving it to others as well. While sharing is caring, given the current situation as the doctors and govt is appealing - at this hour of emergency, what is required most from

Turning 30 ;)

This post is a special one 😊 The one about - "Why God why 😭" birthday! A lot of of friends asked me, how special was your first birthday after being married this year? Did your husband make it memorable?   Well.. Here's a post dedicated to the Mr. for making it a beautiful celebration. From being an unplanned backpacker to being the almost Mr.Perfect planner Paveen ensured I enjoyed every bit of my birthday!  😁   I'm definitely not a fan of fancy resorts, so when we took an auto to Stone Wood resort at Gokarna, I almost felt more disappointed that we weren't staying at a hostel by the beach 🙈 But kudos for the arrangement! Having a beautiful hut by the pool was so serene! and when it was time for the cake cutting, we were trying to find the perfect place by the beach.. and we made it to cutting the cake with dj at a restaurant!    The most memorable part of the celebration was a sky lantern. I'd been bragging about wantin

Happy Trails To You!

"Only those who risk going too far can possibly find out how far they can go” – A quote that suits me so beautifully well. Before I want to write about my winter trek, I would proudly want to call this a personal achievement. Why? Because for someone who cannot really bear the Bengaluru winters ..well Kedarkantha was no less than a life challenge. With not even a second of skin to be exposed to air, I survived India’s most favorite winter trek. Yes, this trek was as exciting as it sounds from my first paragraph! This was a surprise trek planned. Many came into the plan but had to drop out in between for various reasons. But still – We made it!! With initial advance booking of the trek via Thrillophia, we were promised that the trek group will consists of 18-20 people. But can you guess the number of people of our group? 105 it was. Oh yes, this was just one of our group with this number and there were atleast 20 groups more with similar numbers everyday. Yes, that wa
